Ergebnis soll ein Analysesystem sein, das schneller als die bisher herangezogenen Blut-Laborwerte Aufschluss \u00fcber die Schwere einer Infektion gibt und dadurch eine Verlaufsprognose und fr\u00fchzeitige gezielte Therapie erm\u00f6glicht.<\/p>\n<p>Zellfreie DNA (cfDNA) als Marker f\u00fcr Infektionserkrankungen steht im Zentrum von \u201eEPI-CARE\u201c. Das ist Erbmaterial, das au\u00dferhalb von Zellen im K\u00f6rper zirkuliert, etwa nach deren Absterben oder bewusster Zerst\u00f6rung. Aus seiner Konzentration kann der behandelnde Arzt R\u00fcckschl\u00fcsse auf die Schwere der Erkrankung ziehen und \u00fcber die weitere Therapie entscheiden. Die cfDNA l\u00e4sst sich mit isothermalen Verfahren nachweisen, die bei konstanten Temperaturen stattfinden und daher keine Erhitzung der Probe erfordern wie f\u00fcr die PCR. Zudem sind die eingesetzten Materialien weniger empfindlich als bei der PCR, weshalb die Vervielf\u00e4ltigung der Nukleins\u00e4ure direkt und ohne Aufreinigung aus der unbehandelten Probe erfolgen kann.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8220;8035&#8243; img_size=&#8220;full&#8220; alignment=&#8220;center&#8220;][vc_column_text css=&#8220;.vc_custom_1659508986934{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8220;]Seit Anfang Mai 2022 arbeiten f\u00fcnf Kooperationspartner in dem Forschungsprojekt zusammen, das auf drei Jahre angelegt ist und vom Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Bildung und Forschung im Rahmen des Aktionsfeldes \u201eGesundheitswirtschaft im Rahmenprogramm Gesundheitsforschung&#8220; unter dem F\u00f6rderkennzeichen 13GW0593B mit rund 2 Millionen Euro gef\u00f6rdert wird. Die BYTEC Medizintechnik GmbH hat die Projektkoordination inne und verantwortet die Erarbeitung des Analyseger\u00e4ts. R-Biopharm wird unter der Leitung von Dr. Tobias Wittwer in Kooperation mit der Johannes-Gutenberg-Universit\u00e4t Mainz den dort entwickelten Assay in seiner Reaktionsdauer und Sensitivit\u00e4t optimieren und eine M\u00f6glichkeit der Langzeitlagerung entwickeln.
